The site is in a historically and visually important location of the Jyväskylä cityscape, facing a river and surrounded by forest. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
The gable roofs and eaves of the buildings form a well-recognized and personal silhouette for the area. Bringing a counterbalance to this, the houses nearby the river have interestingly shaped sloped aft roofs.⠀⠀

The log walls visible outdoors and indoors bring character to the area and a warm atmosphere to the interiors of the apartments.
